1953 Born in Sydney, Australia.
1971-72 Studied at the National School of Art, Sydney.
1973-75 Studied at the Shillito Design School, Sydney
1976-78 Higher Diploma in Fine Art, Slade School of Fine Art, University College London (UCL), London.
1978-79 Visiting Tutor at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, London.
1978-80 Visiting Tutor at the Byam Shaw School of Fine Art, London.
1981-82 Research Assistant at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, London.
1983-85 Part-time lecturer at the City Art Institute, Meadowbank & St. George Technical College Art Schools.
1985 Awarded a Japanese Government "Monbusho" Research Scholarship.
