Selected Biography

 

1953 Born in Bedfordshire, U.K.

1969/71 Studied Advanced Level Art at Mander College, U.K.

1972 Attended Eastbourne School of Arts, U.K.

1973/76 Awarded place at Camberwell School of Arts, London. Graduated B.A. Hons.

1976 Taught ceramics for Inner London Education Authority

1976/79 Worked as technical advisor and potter in Cambridgeshire pottery workshop

1979 Moved to Australia and resumed studies

Began painting full time

1989 Study Tour - U.K. - Europe

1991 Studied in France with Carol Farrow Visited Moulin de Verger, Richard de Bas mills.

Visited craft workers/artists in Korea, China, India, Malaysia and hill tribes in Thailand

1992 Studied paper-making with Carol Farrow, in France
