SELECTED BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1950 in the Orange Free State, South Africa, he is now resident in Australia. Mel sketched from a young age, and started painting in 1970.
He is a self taught painter, and has taken part in numerous joint exhibitions around South Africa, including: Child Welfare Exhibitions,
World Wildlife Trust, Save the Rhino Foundation, Release the Detainees, and various Political Exhibitions .
